Pony Wall / Foundation Corner
I'm wondering if anyone has the same problem...This plan is drawn in X1.3
I've attached 3 pictures and the .plan file if anyone is interested in looking. You'll the that i have a full foundation wall on the front side of the building and then around the corner to the right i have a pony-wall, the upper wall type is a siding-6, and the lower wall type is 8" concrete. They are set to alight on the outer-main layer, so the framing layer is to the outside of the wall. Then i broke the wall in elevation mode, and created a few steps, the section of wall closest to the corner, i made the upper wall layer dimension 0", so it is basically a full concrete wall.
I've done this before without issue, but now it's giving me a weird display, the 2 walls join at an angle and in 3D, the actual corner is missing, and the elevation view shows a line and discoloration, even though both walls are using the same material.
Any ideas? am i doing this wrong?Matthew

Where the wall goes all the way to the top, don't use a pony wall there.
Add a break and use a foundation wall.
Try naming the garage before building the foundation..
Nice house...........

hmm, never seen it before. I save all my plan files to a server, but all my CA settings and libraries are local to my machine, there might be something going on there, but...i dont get it when i open the plan, so it must be a machine or destination kind of thing here on my end...thanks again
