    Corner Board/Quoin

Anybody have any ideas about this? I've drawn others like this with brick on one wall and siding around the corner and this didnt happen.

    -1" thickness on Quoin

-i double checked to make sure that the wall material and Quoin material were the same brick texture/pattern

-i tried making the Quoin thicker, but still the same

-the other corners work fine under same circumstances

For some reason the two are competing for space, I think the term used here is Z fighting..or in this case it may be the X axis....anyway, zoom in close to that corner to be sure the quoin has attached itself to the outer layer, and not the sheeting layer for some reason.

    After that...?

Did you create this plan starting with an imported dwg from a surveyor?

I wrote code in 1984 to make my Sinclair 100 - so I used to be a programmer! So I can say with authority how easy it is to program Chief features! ;-)

Nope, just a CA drawing from scratch...

After deleting and re-creating the Quoin about 100 times, chief seems to have given in and just did it right...so it looks ok now, but i'm still trying to figure out where it went wrong in the first place.

But now i have a new "quirk", something i've seen on a few drawings...I'm going to start a new thread though becuase its a layout issue rather than a cornerboard issue...
