What's Best Way to Get Hardi pattern and Rendering
Hey all,
I need 24" x 8' Hardie Board Siding? Should I just change the scale of a 4x8 sheet pattern then put do the same for the 4x8 render of a plywood sheet after manipulating in Photoshop.
Anyone know where there's an existing pat and render for both?
Thanks very much,
Zowie

That's what I would do.
Then - The paint program that Chief sells, and Ben Moore's Color Preview software, will both "paint" a new color onto a texture - essentially keeping the greyish texture intact but overlaying the new color. Both these programs will then let you export to jpeg, the format needed for a new texture. The other paint manufacturer's programs will not - at least not last time I tried them.Wendy Lee Welton

I wrote code in 1984 to make my Sinclair 100 - so I used to be a programmer! So I can say with authority how easy it is to program Chief features! ;-)

Thanks Glenn, These are great but.....
Thanks very much, these are useful, but for the project I"m looking for 2' x 8' hardi siding--that vogue contemporary look. I can't seem to find a sheet in the library that doesn't have texture sort of need an mdo board to manipulate color with, the plywood paneling has plywood, I'm sure it will dawn on me how to get this, but would love to have a rendering if you have one. Thanks very much, zowie

Do you have a web address for this 2'x8' product? I have been to the Hardie site but could not find this product.
