    Dimensions

When I am dimensioning I need to be able to dimension to both sides of a wall to get the overall dimension and also only to get a dimension for a single room. When I do this I always get a dimension for the wall thickness which is not necessary, if fact it really gets in my way. How can I get rid of this wall dimension and still keep my dimension line on boths sides of the wall?

You don't need to line them up with the Interior dimension tool.
Just drag a dimension line through multiple rooms and you get a dimension line showing the room widths and no wall thickness.

If you want clear dimensions for each room without the wall thickness indicated just do a interior dimension for each room and line them up.
