reinstalling X1 and bonus libraries-lost or not?

I had to reinstall X1 due to some problems. Question is, did I lose my bonus libraries that I had downloaded from Chief's website? I can't tell !! One of the bonus features was Mohawk carpets. I searched for Mohawk and it was there, however, are they the bonus or are they what came with the program?

I should have created new folders in my library for bonus symbols but I didn't...another little project of organization is a comin' soon.

As long as you uninstalled from the "Windows Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs" and reinstalled to the same location your bonus library content should still be there. I think the only way you would loose them is by manually deleting the "Libraries" folder via Windows Explorer after the uninstall.

I created a "My downloads" folder and tell everything to download to that.
Then I sort out things that are CA related and put them in a subfolder called Chief Stuff....
I then copy this stuff to the program file and install from there....
That way if anything happens to my program file area, I still have the original download in my "stuff" file.
I copy "my downloads" folder to my external hard drive for upgrading my laptop which is never hooked to the internet....
It's not hard to keep this updated this way, and I use a program called "beyond compare" to bring in only new stuff to the external hard drive and to the laptop....

I do exactly the same thing and have a "My Downloads" folder for the same reasons you state.
