    Hmmmm,

Somehow I lost my rim joist and my second floor appears to be floating.
Any ideas would be appreciated. I am just familiar enough with the Chief software to be a menace!

Check the wall dialogue box for both the first & second floor walls. General Tab - top right - there are settings for "Stop at Floor Platform" and "Stop at Ceiling"

Also - Please post your version. There are significant differences between Chief 10 & Chief X1. You'll get better help if we know a bit more.

I wrote code in 1984 to make my Sinclair 100 - so I used to be a programmer! So I can say with authority how easy it is to program Chief features! ;-)

    Thanks,

Although, - now I am forced to admit- I'm a bit old fashioned. I am mostly a pencile and paper guy and I'm running an old jelopy...Chief 8.0.

I couldn't find the settings "Stop at Floor Platform" and "Stop at Ceiling". Any other suggestions? ...I am not ready to upgrade. Yet.

I Would Rather Find A Window To Jump Out Of Than (again-ever) Draw By Hand. The Upgrades Generally Make Drawings More Efficient - W/more Control. Admit Though To Preferring A Hammer Over A Nail Gun.

    Gerald,

Select the wall. Use the little door icon to open it's dialogue box. Check the first and second tabs.

    Thanks for your suggestions Wendy,
    It's back!
    ..and I didn't even change a thing! A bug?
Maybe I should concider that upgrade.

Nice work on your web site! I assume Chief had a role.
