    raised platfom

I need to design a Cabin that rests on a raised platform with piers to support it. can anyone help me. I have tried to use the elevation in the floor and wall settings but this leaves me with a white blank in the terrain under the building.

    Hi there...got a name?
Try this: In the Terrain Specification dialog box, under "clipping", uncheck "hide terrain Intersected by Building".
You didn't say whether you were using V10 or X1, but it should be the same...

Here is another problem. I want the deck to run around the entire cabin. when I put a railing around the whole platform it cuts the walls for the cabin down to the railing level. Is there a way to solve this?
