I used a slab for the kneewall. then built the rail centered in the knee wall. i need a shoe i can use polyline solides or slabs. if you nees a raised shoe about the kneewall i have no clue how to accomplish that without building the whole thing manually. sorry about the picture size im on the demo version.

first get rid of the half wall you have and the railing. start fresh.
ok, first draw a rectangle slab in plan view. double click the break tool put two 90 degree breaks in the slab and pull the middle section in so it looks like a U shape. That is your half wall.
line up the outside egde of your slab to the outside edge of the wall below.
make your wall the desired hight and thickness. its easier to munipulate the slab in an elevation view.
once you have the slab in place the way you want it, simply draw a railing in the middle of the half wall. the railing tends to snap to the corner of the upstairs wall but if you use the prescision move handle you can bring it in from the corner. hope this helpsOPIE AND ANTHONY ON XM 202 SPREAD THE VIRUS!!!!

short wall balcony.
All of this can be done without having to use slabs. Make 2nd floor balcony reg walls. then build 3rd floor with railing walls.
