X1 Dimensions to Surface, When is this going to be fixed?

Hey all,
Am I missing something? With "Dimension to Surfaces" on: When I click
to the interior of a window, T dimensions shoots a dimension to the outer layer
of the wall, not framing layer, but siding layer????

This is retarded. I just assumed someone at Chief would be rushing to fix this obvious and embarrassing error, but it's been a while and no fix????

Clicking to the interior of a window with "Dim to Surfaces" on should shoot a Temp Dim to the interior surface of the adjoining wall like in V10.

I dont seem to have a problem with this. I tried duplicating your error but did not get your results. I did however get your results with the point to point dimension.

Works for me. Are you sure you're dimensioning to the correct places?

I don't know what I did to fix it, but it works for me now. Perhaps it changed in X1? My temp dimensions no longer go to surfaces!

Here's the same shot with "surfaces" selected. Both are temp dimensions displayed by clicking on the window.
