Tommy you are right, it isn't a big deal, its more of an annoyance.

I suspect that it really does not work for anyone who replied.

Kevin the trouble is there are many of these in X-1.

OK make a list of exactly the steps to follow. I will do it at my end and try to capture the result.

    Fredrick,

    We have made a list.

Do you use object snaps to place manual roof planes exactly where they are supposed to go?

Now??? It's 10:38 PM EST. Most folks don't want to be bothered at that time of night.

[COLOR="Blue"]Are you clicking on the roof tool like you're going to place a roof. Then move your mouse over a wall and scroll in using the mouse wheel AND move your mouse in any direction? You have to move your mouse imediately after scrolling in or during scrolling in. It sounds like your not doing all the steps.

Yes. Yes. Yes. and yes. I can place a roof manually, access all the edit handles, move it anywhere I want, move the mouse left, right, up, down, zoom in and out and use the center mouse button to pan the view. My object snaps on the roof stay active throughout. So, what am I missing here? Maybe, like George, I don't understand. My mouse is a Microsoft wheel mouse optical.

I don't really know how to explain it better. I think George is talking to Louis. Maybe George can re-phrase it better.
