In X-1
if you use your mouse zoom wheel while in manual roof mode with object snaps on the program kicks off object snaps. How many of you like that?
In 10 zomming has no affect on the snaps.Last edited by louis; 07-15-2007 at 02:53 PM.

I don't know how else to explain it. In X-1 if you zoom while in roof mode object snaps turn off and you must left click again to get the snaps back.
In 10 you do nothing.
Do you have X-1?Last edited by louis; 07-15-2007 at 02:54 PM.

Fredrick,
More precisely the object snaps turn off.
I changed the other posts to be more precise.Last edited by louis; 07-15-2007 at 02:59 PM.

So on the same machine, same mouse, same drivers ver 10 works one way and X-1 works another. How is this possible?
Tommy gets the same thing on his machine.
I had another plan today that I could not draw manual roof planes at all and then for whatever reason it comes back. It does not do any good to send these in (I already have) because the plan works when I send it.Last edited by louis; 07-15-2007 at 05:28 PM.

So far, I seem to only have that problem in roof mode if I scroll in or out with the mouse AND move my mouse in any direction. I have to move the mouse. I don't seem to have this problem when working with cad lines, polyines, etc., only with roofs. There is something about the roofs. For those of you trying this, try getting in roof mode turn on the "on object" snap, move your mouse in plan so you can see the "on object" snap is indicating. Now scroll in with the mouse wheel and ALSO move your mouse. The object snap deactivates. You then have to activate the roof tool again. It will stay active until you scroll in again AND move the mouse.
