    Return Stairs with Half landing

    Hi
New here to this program and I need to create a stairway in an old loft building. The stairs would go up 10 feet to a landing then 10feet more to an other landing then from there to the second floor landing.
Cant seem to figure it out
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Drag a section of stairs (up) to about where it should end (at the proposed landing.)
Drag another section of stairs (up) starting from about where they would connect to the proposed landing and ending where they meet the next floor.
Then click in-between the two sections (where the landing ought to be) and one should appear, connected to the two stair sections.

Yes thats what I did and sometimes it work and somtimes not. When it works and i try to edit the stairs the top section always ends up down on the floor again. I cannot get a stair to hook on to the landing to continue the stairs up to the next floor. I have made polyline landings one for each stair section but I dont think that is the right way to go.

The secret to stairs is to not be afraid to move them.

...and stairs with landings work better if you put them together with one fluid motion.

Once you have them drawn, open them to add or subtract the number of threads on each section..
That is easier than doing trying to adjust the cad/plan view..

This is what happens the stairs always over lap and when I try to fix them the second part of the stairs goes to the floor or detaches from the landing.

Post the plan.Or a small plan with the same heights and way you want them..
Or practice on a test plan.It takes a little playing with at stairs to get better at them.
