Disappearing elevations

Using X1 a few weeks now. Very cool but........

Problem:
Send elevation to layout. fine

Reopen elevation, add cad info, close and renew to layout. Only the cad information appears in layout.

Have tried all layer display tricks. Everything is on including cad lines and patterns etc.

????????
Used Chief for years and never had this happen.

Glen i have the same problem on some drawings even after the updates, very "frustrating!" especially when you trying to get a job finished by a set time.
I found a temp way to get around it that works for myself. when you have finished editing you elevation click on the save button on your tool bar top left corner of screen near the printer button, then close the view it should say "update elevation on layout page?If layout is updated ,any previous layout edit work must be redone." select "no". I don't know why, but this seems to save the work done on my elevation page.
