Render problems NEED HELP

I'm using CA X1. I did a model of a house with balcony and awings. After i did the 'final view in shadows' it seems as if the sun just shine throught them and there is no shadows.(example below) I tried changing the layer but the results remained the same after. What is the problem and what can I do to fix it? Thanks

Please send this to tech support. I'm getting the same thing and haven't had time to pack up an example. I don't think it's you. I think it's a bug.

I have this happening on porches, where the extra sun comes through in a render view, but not a POV-Ray. I've tried extra polyline solids etc - no luck with the render view.
