Chief will fight you a little on this. A wall with multiple curves like this will look like a wall with joints to Chief, and it will not automatically put windows beyond the edge of the walls. But, you might be able to beat it into submission.
Try this
- first make your curved wall assembly.
- either on one of the longer pieces, or even a piece of wall temporarily parked in the yard - place one complete stack of windows and mull them together. If you have multiple floors, you will need to make separate stacks for the portions within that floor.
- finally, in your curved assembly, copy these mulled units to complete the grid. You will need to hold the Control key down and drag to place any window that spans the joint between wall sections.
I've had X1 get pretty grumpy about stuff like this. If you get any weird mullions that go diagonally across the assembly, send it straight in to technical support.Wendy Lee Welton

I wrote code in 1984 to make my Sinclair 100 - so I used to be a programmer! So I can say with authority how easy it is to program Chief features! ;-)

thanks for the advice, it did not workout. it still will not let me drag/copy the window where the two curved walls join together. they should make a tool where you can put an object where the wall are joined or mull the wall somehow to make it one wall.

Make that section out of one wall?
Chief's windows will curve to match a curved wall so a window cannot span tow different walls.

...or make the whole wall a glass wall and then add your window sashes.

Louis,
In the picture, his wall appears to be partly straight and partly curved. Do you know of a way to make a single wall do that?
Nate,
I'm wondering if you could adjust your wall segments so that the joints fall between windows?Wendy Lee Welton

I tried that but it didn't work... the windows just shorten in length before they are draged near the joint.

See if this helps.

if I made the whole wall glass, how would I make the sashes and how would I make it contour to the curved walls.

Nate,
How about molding polylines?
