Believe it or not I've never had to do one in Chief but I know some of you have.

What is the best way to go about this.

Your help might save me a hours of puddling about.
    Hey Rick

I have used the 2D isometric type method to meet the Council requirements in the past, however I believe the requirements now must include positions within the framing to check joist and structural penetrations points etc. You could show this on the floor plans.

I agree with some of the previous posts that colour would be helpful for clarity within the documentation for plumbers etc however dont do this as several of our beloved NZ Councils wont accept coloured drawings as they dont scan well apparently.

Why they dont just accept electronic applications is beyond me?

Might be to efficent for them and they wouldnt have anything to do? LOL

    Good Luck
