I am totally new terrain myself. This was very good info. Am I correct in this assumption. The building pad height is floor height "0" relative to terrain. This does not change all the relative floor heights of the actual building, ie first floor height "0" and second floor 108 1/8. The building pad height is moving the entire structure up or down relative to the terrain. Is this correct?

Yes, the building pad height is the difference between the first floor and the terrain - has no effect on other floors.

I wrote code in 1984 to make my Sinclair 100 - so I used to be a programmer! So I can say with authority how easy it is to program Chief features! ;-)
