Retaining wall
How do you attached a retaining wall to the house without the footer running up the wall?

2 questions
Allen, am hoping I can jump into this thread with questions related somewhat to retaining wall construction being discussed...
MY CURRENT DILEMMA:I have built a "polyline landing" entry porch slab supported by a "pony foundation wall" as a retaining wall under the entry porch --- and have run 2 questions (please see 2 jpgs attached, related to each specific question).RAIL & LANDING EDGE question:
Is there any way to change the landing edge and rail materials other than the default wood material that is created when creating a "polyline landing w/ rails" ?MOLDING REMOVAL question:
The material painter will not work, but instead urges one to change the wall below or above (which doesn't seem to relate to polyline landing construction).
I want to get rid of the default base and crown molding on the interior of this entry stoop "room" created by my "pony foundation wall" construction. When I go to "Floor Tools" while on Level 1 (which is the stoop level) and clear the moldings in the dbx, the moldings certainly disappear...BUT they ALSO disappear everywhere else on Level 1, as expected. Thanks in advance for any info you can offer.
Is there a way that moldings can be removed room by room, once these moldings have been set up in the Floor Tools dbx.
