Fire Escape Symbol Needed
I have need for a fire escape symbol. I searched the threads but found none.
This would be from a second story only.
If have one or know where to get one I would appreciate a lead.
Thanks,

Hello Allen!
I searched the library first because I thought I had one but could not find while searching "Fire Escape".
Making one was some what none successfull. Got the steps ok but did not get the railing or the open metal rod steps or open metal rod landings so I I thought I would give this forum a try.

This was a pain..
If you just use stairs you can get the open treads..
I think I posted one before in "one symbol a day"But took it off because it came from a site..Can not find it,but maybe some else has it...........

Hello Allen!
You know, that's the best I have seen so far.
Maybe we could turn the steps around like original an fill in the opening and we got it. If not it will have to work.
Yes, I would like a copy if you please.
Thank you,

Just messin around
I started playing around with the symbol allen posted, along with your picture, and here is the result.
It's a .dwg .... I haven't imported it into chief yet.I always have trouble remembering three things: faces, names, and - I can't remember what the third thing is.

Thanks you very much. I will give it a try but it looks eal good.
Is a 3D dwg or a dwg drawing?

It's a 3d .dwg.
I did the revising in sketchup, then exported to .dwg.
I usually have more luck with .dwg than .obj format when importing into chiefI always have trouble remembering three things: faces, names, and - I can't remember what the third thing is.

exallspaniab,
I can not open your file. It only makes a plan view with no depth.
If this is correct, then what is the next step?
P.S. could you post your name.
