modify truss

early today i requested info on how to modify a truss to be a structural truss and an end truss, if you have done many roof system you know this happens a lot well.....

i figured it out seeing how no one seemed to know just how to do this
so if you are wondering here is how to do it

first make your first truss
set in in place and then multiple copy it, but only once
click on your new (second) truss and hold down the control key and drag it to the wall snap which will set it over the top of the first end truss.
you now have a structural end truss
this only works for the 3 d effect and does not make it in truss detail
i guess this will have to be left to a truss shop

i forgot to mention once you make your copy of the truss you need to set the first truss as an end truss and then drag and drop you structual truss into place

I just responded to you first post (I only saw it this morning)....

I modify trusses all the time...And the truss details that are created in CA I send to the truss shop and they engineer the trusses based on the envelop that I've designed....
