I have a question. When you go into page setup (drawing sheet) what size papers are listed there?

I bet 11 X 17 is the largest size available!
Am I right?

Do you know if I can do that with Adobe Acrobat? I have the full version.

Yes you can. But you did not answer the question.

Sorry, we crossed replies.
Within the HDD program, under Page Setup, there is no "paper sizes" section except for what I can choose from my printer driver drop-down menue. I have an HP PhotoSmart which does not print larger than 8.5x14" (legal). Isn't paper size selection dependent upon the printer drivers you have?

Is there a drawing sheet size and a printer sheet size?
Hit F-5 to refresh forum while on the forum to see if you have an answer.

You can try it. Select adobe acrobat as your printer and see what sizes you have available.

I do hit F5 to refresh the screen when looking for replies, but there wasn't one there when I wrote back. I'm just now checking recent reply postings from work.
I tried printing to Acrobat Distiller, and there is the option of 11x17, but HDD doesn't seem to want to print to Distiller. The print job "fails" every time I try, even if I try tweaking some of the Distiller settings. I attached a screenshot of the settings I'm looking at.

Jeff:
Does Distiller install as a "virtual" printer ?
If so, then when you select FILE - PRINT within HDD it should be
one of your printer choices along with any physical printers you
have.
Adobe Acrobat or PDF995 will install as "virtual" printers and thus should be seen as choices among your printers.

That's actually what I was doing, choosing Acrobat Distiller from the printer drop-down list. I print to Distiller quite often from other programs and have no problem. (Depending on the version, some drivers list as "Distiller" while others display as "Adobe PDF".)
If HDD won't print to a PDF driver, am I stuck with trying the earlier suggestions?

don't know about Distiller but it should print to PDF995.
It should be on your HDD CD ?

Thanks everyone for your advice and patience. I tried using PDF995 and it seemed to work just fine. I can select from a huge list of paper sizes. The problem still lies with the scale within HDD. When I change the scale from 1/8in. = 1ft. to 1/4in. = 1ft., I get a portion of the drawing grayed out (see attachment). Does this have to do with the way I created the drawing?
When I then print to PDF995, regardless of the paper size selected, I only get the white portion of the plan. It's like the gray area doesn't fit on the page. WHAT AM I MISSING???
Thanks...

That is the 11X17 limit.
Your welcome!
