Ron,
I understand perfectly.
Believe it or not Ron I had nothing to do with the change and that's fine that you don't like it. I hear you! What do you want me to say?
Would it be better if when you placed text on any layer and then you placed arrows the arrows would always be on the same layer as the text. Sure it would. I would love that. Is Chief perfect? Of course not, it never has been.Last edited by louis; 01-12-2007 at 04:17 PM.

Ben,
I'm only going to say this one more time.
I ALWAYS change the text default when I enter new text or arrows or I copy the text and arrow I already have which are on the same layer.Last edited by louis; 01-13-2007 at 07:14 AM.

You also edited this in an earlier thread:

Obviously I do it the way 10 is designed also, since that is my only choice to accomplish this, but why not have them automatically change...the text tool would be better.
Better designing for all. Have a good weekend....go Phoenix Suns!

01-13-2007, 07:50 AM #36I put no text on the default layer.
The reason I said this is because it is true. I put no text on the original text default layer and it does work doing this. That does not mean I don't have my own defaults! I should have made this more clear. I'm sorry.
I also do this with dimensions as well.
See my method in action in Canada at our next class. I will show you exactly how it works.Last edited by louis; 01-13-2007 at 12:13 PM.

Louis, I see you are STILL altering you posts after you post them. A "Chief Guru" needs to think through their post before posting. If you want to say something more post again PLEASE so those of us that are watching and learning can follow clearly.
