    Export Resolution

I'm trying to export a floorplan as a file I can send to my graphic designer to produce marketing materials. I've tried the pdf and picture files (jpg, tiff etc..), but the resolution isn't good enough for any of these file types. The room names are barely legible. Is there a way to export these file types at a higher resolution? Also, I exported as emf and wmf and the resolution is good, but there is a light blue background for some reason. Any suggestions?

    Hi Bill
Are you using the pdf to print the layout out page or a picture of the plan screen?
    Not sure if it matters...

Are you putting the view you want into a layout first, and then printing it to .pdf from the layout?

I'm printing from the layout using the pdf995 printer driver. If there is an alternative way that works well, I would like to try that also. I did find a way to improve the graphics when printing this way. When the print screen comes up and you have chosen the pdf995 driver, hit the properties button and then advanced under the paper/quality tab. Under graphics, choose print quality and this will let you choose the dpi.
I think the reason my text wasn't showing up properly at 600 dpi was because I'm using one of those "homeade" ones that isn't quite as heavy as the others.

    Thanks again,

You're on the right track Bill, if you set up your page layout before hand, with the highest resolution, you won't have to make the change every time. It took me a long time to get that part through my head
