Exposed Rafters

Just wondering what is the best way to display exposed rafters? i.e. A 600mm eave with no fascia and no lining. Just a gutter and roof tiles

You may need to do this with polyline solids. Draw the rafter tail in section view, (cad) Convert it to a polyline solid...Give it thickness (example 1 1/2") and select your material to be used (example fir). Once done and in position, switch back to plan view and mutiple copy rafter tail. I'm sure you'll get other responces or ideas. I'v used this method with interior exposed rafters and it worked just fine.
