    I can't replicate the problem other than to suggest this:

    Have a look in 3d to see if you are trying to stick the end cabinet to the face of the standard cab.

    This is where the module arrows are handy to see what you are doing
    I always have my module lines on in 2d and off in 3d
    You can set them to a light colour that will not print in B & W
