10.0 to 9.5
Anyone know how to save/open files from 10.0 to 9.5? or is it possible. Like on AutoCAD you can save as a previous version. Does chief do this too?

(my situation) i picked up a side job doing chief, i did my part in 10.0 but the employer has 9.5. is there a way he can look at it and maybe edit it?

You can export a dwg and he can look at it and edit, but that won't help in Chief...or make a PDF file and he can look at it. If he has a 10 client viewer he can add text notes to it.

Hey Louis,
You can add text notes with the Client Viewer? If a client wants to communicate wanted changes by moving things around in the client viewer, can they print to a PDF from it?

by moving things around in the client viewer
Wendy:
No edits allowed with the Client Viewer, they can make notes and use some other markup tools (very limited compared to Adobe Acrobat).
They can't even do dimensions.
They can do prints, so yes they could create PDF's if they have PDF995 installed (or something like it).
