    Thanks very much for sharing the construction technology, Leslie. The pics really help make the 2d cross section gel in my head.

    One question, though - if the stem wall is made of CMUs, shouldn't their edges be shown in the x-section, filled or not? It just seems more communicative to me to include them. I'm sure it's not an issue where that technique is common...

    We generally spec. which cells are filled in a note:

    "cells shall be poured solid at each corner and each side of each opening and on 4' centers- each filled cell shall have 1 ea #5 rebar vertically"
