Thanks very much. As it turns out...I did what Glenn had sugested under internet options...but nothing happened.

And oddly enough...when I unchecked the image options unter the user CP...a jpeg icon now appears in the thread...where there had previoulsy been nothing...but I can click on it, and see what I've been missing.

...and for the record...you are correct about the dutch gable. You must have spent a little time in Holland...which is by the way a very beautiful place.
