Line Style/ Line Weight
I have a remodel project with lots of demo walls that are dashed in plan. When I send it to layout and use the "show lineweight" button, the dashes become awfully long and unrecognizable as a dashed line. I have tried changing the endcap properties, but it only changes the ends, not the length of dash. Is there a preference I am missing? The only thing I could think of is when I sent to the layout the scale was set and that was that. Help!

Did you try other line styles?? there are many dashed lines of different scale to chose.

I did and I am using the most dashed one at the moment. It seems to still leave about 3' lines at 1/4" scale. Seems like there should be one that leaves more like 6" lines, don't you think?

Thanks for your answer Tim. This would not have been self evident. Sure would help to be in the CA documentation too.
