    saving a layout

Help! in sending a cross section/ elevation view with added text and dimensions to the layout page it all transfers, but when I save the layout view all my text and dimensions are no longer there - the elevetion view of the house is. I have worn the tutorial out looking for a fix - any thoughts?

    Did check the layers?
Only a guess=try blocking every thing then send to layout.
    Hope you get it fixed..

Not sure why you're having this problem. If you can see it in the layout, then be sure you save the layout in the same folder with the plan to help minimize linking problems. If when the saved layout is open and you don't see the text and dimensions, try double clicking the viewport to be sure the link is linking correctly. If so, and you still don't see the text, left click on it and open the options at the bottom tool bar and be sure the layers are on for text and dimensions.

Are you working in a layout set? What set are you working in?
