Molding Line Below Surface ?
OK I'm stumped. When I draw a molding line on an exterior wall it disappears below the surface of the wall. If I use the delete surface tool to delete the wall surface material ...... there it is. What am I doing wrong? I have used this tool many times before with no problems. I am using CA 10.08. BTW this is my first post, but this forum has been a huge help over my past year of learning CA. -Dave

Dave, I usually get a little confused on this too, but it does matter which direction you draw the line. If the mldg disappears, I guess you may need to draw from the other direction, or try to open and either check or uncheck the "Inside" box. For some reason, I always have a hard time finding the mldg tool, so I draw a line then convert. It seems I have a little better control drawing as well. That is probably my imagination, but whatever works best for you.
