    Open an AutoCad file

Quick question - is it possibe to open in chief an AutoCad file, and then manipulate it. If it is possible, I assume I would be working in the CAD mode, which is fine ... but can it be done? If an AutoCad user were to send me a file, what form should I ask for it in? Also, any special suggestions?
    Thanks,

Yes you can change it in Chief 9.5 or less, but make sure it is 2002 or 2000 DWG format.
Chief does not support 2004 DWG yet.

Chief 10.0 will support 2004/2005 DWG

Don't let anybody fool you ! A home builder with CAD under his belt that actually uses a hammer and computer will run circles around the Desk jockey's playing with their mouse.
