    Funny columns

I drew these columns on the basement level on the house. Does someone have some time this morning tohelp me out with this problem? I tried several times to get this cleared up, but it keeps doing this.

    Thank you

this is a guess because you do not say what the problem is, but what can;t you just stretch them into place in an elevation view

I tried that. According to Chief, the posts are on the basement level at finished floor and are 97" tall. There is nothing on the first floor. I had a basement problem with this plan before and I am not sure if it is totally fixed.

If they are slabs the top height has to be set at real elevation. So if your first floor is 0" and your basement floor is at -109", an 8' post would have a top height of -12 and be 96" tall.
