    flush dormers

I have created 2nd floor dormers that are flush with the exterior walls below. The roofs of these dormers have a baseline of 4ft matching the baseline of the cape style roof from which they protrude. However the existing eave line of the main roof goes right through the middle of the dormer windows. How do i remove these eave sections? I exploded the automatically generated dormers, moved the dormer roof back so i could select the main roof plane. then with CAD break line removed the sections, but that created a bit of a mess. thanks karl

Post a picture or the plan so we can see exactly what the problem is.
