Foundation dimension question

Great. That's what I do with my foundation offsets. I'm not sure if it's "standard practice" but it does work for me, my masons get their walls right, my excevators dig out and layout the footers right, and the framers have the right offset on the block....So...it seems to work.

Just be sure - if you want that line to show on paper, you either have to print in color (which wont copy so well)...or change the hatch from solid to a pattern (like the cross angle or something).
