    Thanks Tim,

With so many things to keep up on I just never thought about the drivers for my video card!

Following your opinion of Norton from a previous post I went with Bit Defender (antivirus), Zone Alarm (firewall) and Spyware Doctor 3.8 (antispyware). I did a lot of reading in PC Magazine (perhaps too much) and each is top rated. The opinion seemed to be that each program was excellent at one type of protection but weak in the others. I need to check again to make sure I have disabled all overlapping features. This may be another case of learning the hard way but I really have come a long way in the last year!

I just read the reply from Keith Jeffery that updating my drivers will not have a benefit?????????

There may be a benefit, but you may also notice no difference whatsoever. To save you some time, I was going with the "if it's not broken, don't fix it" mentality.

    No laughing matter.

Hey, this is the first time I've looked here and discovered I can use up to 8 lights in a rendering... HA!
8 lights , I laugh at your 8 lights Ha Ha Ha Ha, Ive got a 3d labs, and I can use 16 , actually they don't work , but it looks good on the side of the box:mad: .

What do you mean they don't work? They should work within Chief. We check for that.
