    Roof issue with 2 pitch

    Hello,

    pictures of my problem :

    Exterior view : Ok

    the "Fascia Top height" of the 45° pitch roof plane = "Ridge/Top height" of the 30° pitch roof plane.

    Why this hole ?

    Did you use the join roof tool?I like to give roof planes different fills on plan view to see them better while working on them...

    If you save your picture as a jpeg.You should be able to post directly here,then if you click on them,they will open bigger..

    Yes it works with the auto tool but I made my roof manually because too much complicated

    I can not tell by the pictures what is going wrong.Sorry.
    It looks like you just have to pull the 2 roofs together..
    If you try glass house view,it might be easier to see for you..

    If you ascertain that the facia of the upper roof and the ridge of the lower roof are the same inches above floor, (via each roof dialog box), then join roofs, it should be perfect.

    I always have best results by checking the roof dialog boxes of the roofs to be joined. For valleys, make the facia the same in both ajoining roofs.

    Phil,
    If you take a cross section view you should be able to see why the hole from the inside shows
    I didn’t see a wall or a beam where the two roofs connect! What will hold them up? It may be two different sizes of rafters, they meet on top but not the bottom (making the hole)

    Like Allen said, we can only see what you show us.
    Take a view more camera views and I think you may find the answer or post them so we can see more.
    Some times the smallest thing can show up larger
