1/4" = 2'??
How do I set the layout scale default to x/x" = 1'?
whenever i send to layout the dialogue box defaults to 1/4" = 2 ft

in plan view go to page setup and set your desire scale there

ummmm-not when sending to print but when sending to layout from plan
just for laughs i checked the page setup dia and yes it's set correctly (which i knew from printing who knows how many plans this week)

that is what I am talking about...the default scale from plan to layout is set while you have a plan view active...click the page setup and set your desired default scale that is sent to layout there...ummmm-not when sending to print but when sending to layout from plan
the default print scale from layout is set when you have a layout active...
two different things
