    Generally, when we draw a brick wall, the wood studs make up the main layer. If the foundation is generated while the studs are checked as the main layer, the foundation will align with the stud wall, allowing the brick to cantilever into space. To fix, designate the brick as the main layer to generate your foundation, then redesignate the studs as the main layer when done. (If you don't redesignate, it does wierd things to interior wall intersections.) After redesignations, don't try to align walls automatically from one floor to the next, or you will be back to the same problem.
