Exporting Cad Detail

I just finished a site plan in a cad detail window. I would like to save and export just the detail but cannot find a way to do it without the entire plan.

Is there a way I can just save or export the detail only?

I originally imported the survey info from ACAD 2004 into a cad window and now I want to send it back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are wondering why I just didn't do it in ACAD it is because even though I can use ACAD I am much faster with Chief.

I know very little on the exporting capabilities, but will the export "Current View, DWG, DXF" do what you want?
