line wieghts in elevations

trying to get a handle on the new line weight set up in 10.06 .I've started to use elevations sent directly to layout but am having trouble finding a simple way to up the line weights to all elevations as they are printing too light.....have tried altering in page set up but no effect except to added lines
any help would be greatly appeciated thanks zac
