floating walls
Hi..I m doing a 2 story project with single story detached garage connected by a breezeway... the breezeway roof connects from house to garage .. .. the problem is that when I goto the 2nd floor view the garage walls carry into the 2nd floor view ... I have checked all the wall specs.. ( they are all 10' walls )....., the room specs are identical to the ones in the house.. with the exception the garage has a 4" slab but footing walls are all the same height and the house has a framed wood floor..... any ideas would be much appreciated... thanks all

Randy,
I am not sure I understand what you have but here is a shot.
Did you develop the garage and house a the same time and then build a second floor automatically?
If you did then then the house and the gargae will both have a second floor.
What is to prevent you from deleting the walls in the second story of the garage before you build the roof?

thanks for your note.. gentlemen.. I developed the 2nd floor after the first was complete.. ( and the garage also..) the second floor was not automatic... and does not cover the entire first floor...
No I dont think they are attic walls.. they fit the exact first floor profile.. I delete them every time I goto the 2nd floor view.. if I go back to first floor for some work then back to 2 nd.. they are back again.. I ve never had it happen before so it has rather thrown me..
thanks in advance for your help...

If they spawn themselves, they are attic walls. They will only permanently disappear if you make them "retain attic wall" and "invisible".
