subsection question
Does anyone know how to zoom in to a section of a floor plan and save it as a seperate subsection. so I can then present 2 options of that same section and not have to redraw the plan??
appreciate any suggestions here .. thanks

As Luck would have it.. I finally figured I could copy a layer and just use that.. and modify it.... works good..
funny how that works... you cant find or figure out what ya need and post it and then it comes to ya afterwards..
thanks all..

back in the good old days (even now but for different situations) we would do a “Save As” just to have a different model (file) to show different interior and exterior casing etc. Try “save as” you’ll need it soon enough.

You could also select edit>edit area>draw a markee around the area in question>select copy>open a new plan>paste the copied area there>save it.

Could you post some pics so we can see what you were able to do ? I'm not quite clear on what you were trying to achieve ? But it sounds interesting.
