    Monolithic Slabs

In V9.5, I would use a 9-1/2" wall with the exterior brick. I used the outside of the plate for the main layer and where to build the platform. The slab generated correctly (other than lowering the brick ledge-which it doesn't do) to the outside of the exterior brick. In V10, using the same wall, I have to set the Platform to the exterior of the brick wall, in order for the slab to generate correctly. But then, I have to go back and set the platform to the outside of the plate to generate framing correctly. Has anyone else had this problem or am I missing a setting? Thanks

Thanks for your reply Louis. I knew you would know about the Monolithic Slabs. Do you have any idea what I'm missing? I've tripled checked my settings from 9.5 to V10 and I have to change V10's platform to the exterior of the brick wall in order for the slab to build there. Otherwise, it builds to the outside of the main layer. I'm attaching my settings in V10 and hopefully you can see the picture to the right showing the slab not going to the edge of the brick.

    Cliff,

The only thing that comes to mind is that for some reason Chief is not seeing your brick material as brick.

Thank you very much Louis. You were right. For some reason, in the Define Material area for the pattern, it stated "loaded from plan" instead of "brick". I changed it and it works great. Never would have thought to look there.
