section views and polyline solids

I have been having some difficulty with version 10.06a when moving/adjusting polyline solids done in elevation. I keep getting the "unexpected error, you should save your work etc." message. I am also using a new 'puter with plentu of ram and video but also suspect it may be part of the problem. Just can't figure it out for sure. Anybody else having trouble with polyline solids in elevation??
