Subdivision showing buildings at different elevations

I am drawing duplex condos that are copied to different parts of a terrain perimeter for a subdivision. Anyone know a way to place the buildings at different elevations to fit the terrain?

Are you able to make a symbol from one of the duplexes and copy around your terrain? This picture shows 2 homes turned into symbols at different heights.

I tried setting the floor levels to what i wanted, except each building is the same other than the actual location. I think things will easily get confused, roof baselines, garage floors, porches, second floor levels, it seems a bit of a nightmare to figure out. I was hoping that i could just paste copies of the building at different elevations as suggested above, so i will try the symbol idea.

It seems like the edit area dialog should have a dbx including the elevation detail or something.

    Maybe i am just lazy...

Thanks Lew, I kind of thought this would be the solution, i was hoping that i wouldn't have to edit everything so much, my roofs are a bit tricky, even without the different floor heights. At least i know that it can be done for sure!
