Seperate Living Space for Doubles??
I am designing a series of retirement condos, and would like chief to show the living space of each individually. Can that be done? I know I can list them individually later, but I would like them to show that way now, so I can see the living space of the second 1/2 of the double while I am designing it.
Thanks,

Oh... I don't know.
Going by the title of the thread I thought you were designing a Jason-and-Julie house... bedroom suites on either end with the living area in the middle.

Do you mean show the "living area" for each? There is a text macro for that in v10 but I don't know what area it actually gives you. Click on Insert in a text dbx.

That is exactly what I am talking about (Liz, not Jason).
I haven't found the way yet, but I did figure out how to check the living space periodically of the second half of the double. Go to cad mode, draw a square around the half I am wondering about, with the cad square cutting through the center of the party wall, select edit area, click the copy/paste, then scroll out and paste over to one side. It automatically recreates everything in that area and figures the living space.
Not quite the "instant gratification" I am looking for, but I'll have try to look up that macro thing.
Thanks
