copy and paste
i searched but did not fing, it seems like there should be a way to copy in one plan and paste into another but I have not founf out how
any ideas or solutions???

there is a way but you woud have to send that veiw to a layout

Mine works. I would open up two plans and tile them. Edit Area and copy, then paste in the other plan.

how do you tile 2 plans???

Neal,
While you have your plan open, open a new plan then either go to the "Windows Tab" at the top or to your Icon and tile Vertical, Horiz., etc...Cliff

i do this in presentations with an overview camera to show the existing vs new and it works well, my only prob is that you cant spin both at the same time

ok i got it, when you said open another plan, i was going ctr open instead of of opening in the plan and then hitting windo/tile..
thanks for the help
now thats much easier than i thought, like everything you just gotta do it once..
