Can you pass the test?
-

That's an odd way to score a test. Miss a single question 3 times and it counts like you missed 3 questions. Just getting 3/4 is better than 3/6. It ought to ask only once and score only once. Other than that it works pretty good.

Neat.
But I agree with Jason, I only missed 1 and had to keep entering until it moved on to next question.
A skip option would be good or "don't know"

Jim,
Not sure what you mean. The questions seemed pretty straight forward to me. I'm not asking you to give any answers though.

Plate hgt required " to be correct, which means it docked me wrong. I went back and checked my own settings and i was correct, but wrong without the ".
Pitch didn't require "
Old habit of not using the " because wall, window and door changes don't require it.Take Care

Yep, I had the same problem with the ". I put in xx x/x - Wrong; Then x' x x/x - Wrong; Then xx x/x" - Correct (all were the correct answer, but you need the ")
As for the pitch, I guess you really don't need inches to be correct as long as you have the right number - if the units are the same for the rise and run it could mean inches, feet, meters, yards, miles, rods ...
Thanks for the quiz Louis.

I kept going for the stud hieght

I like the test and would like to see more(harder).
Good learning tools.

On the roof answer the answer is just like you would type it in Chief. The plate height is a little tricky snce chief defaults to inches so you really don't need the inch indicator.
I'm just tying this out to see what works, thanks for the comments.

how about having it as a multiple guess, so they have the correct answer in fromt of them, then they can pick one..
roof pitch can be expressed many ways, so can direction, so can numerical values...
i take it this is the first whack at chiefer testing???

Neal,
I did this to see how the software works.
