where is your camera origin in the elevation?....

The roofplanes baseline and fascia tops values are the same.

as the camera is outside the roof plane your third image leads me to believe you are using a pline solid for the barrel...it looks like the leading edge o that is in the same plane as the fascia...move it back a 1/16" or so behind the roof edge, so the two surfaces are in different planes
